long time no see…
Feels like forever since I’ve blogged or did anything really creative. I’ve been stuck in my own creative rut… mostly because “life” has taken precedence over my art life. This year has been one of personal growth, struggle, learning, forgiveness, healing, love and recovering from illness.
I’m not painting yet, but I am sketching. Here is a new sketch that I worked on last night… hoping I can translate it into a painting. What do you think? What does this say to you?

The past few weeks I have been taking a class on Religion and Myth. It’s been interesting to learn about different world religions and how they all have commonalities.
It’s definitely opened my eyes to things that I was closed off to before.
