Panes con Pavo a favorite traditional dish that I’ve not had in years. I hope to try and make it this year for my family. I think I have everything except maybe the “relajo” seasoning which is the key to this dish flavor. I think my mom used to use watercress instead of lettuce on the sandwiches but watercress has a bit of a kick (spicy) flavor I may need to stick with lettuce?Wish me luck. I’m cooking two birds this year.. one for Sarah’s class on Wednesday the other for my familia on Thursday. I’m thinking I’ll cook some yucca frita with curtido and carnitas too.
